    The Panthers have waived safety Keith Lewis, who was signed last week to replace Dante Wesley on special teams. Apparently the Panthers weren’t all that impressed with Lewis last week because he didn’t even suit up to play against Buffalo.

   Wesley has been reinstated to the 53-man roster after serving a one-game suspension for his illegal hit on Bucs punt returner Clifton Smith.
